As with many projects, the replacement of conservatories from the focus of any alterations to rear extensions. Too hot in the summer, too cold in the winter and too noisy when it rains they are ill-suited to provide quality living space. 
The brief for this project was to replace the conservatory with an insulated extension and open up the existing rear wall to the house to create a semi-open plan kitchen/dining room suitable for entertaining. A set of large bi-folding doors would allow the space to be opened up to the garden to provide indoor/outdoor living.
