The transformation of an existing outbuilding on our client’s land into this charming bakery represents a testament to collaboration, creativity, and the power of adaptive reuse. The bakery, Solaris Bakehouse, will have its grand opening in March 2024 and will not only provide fresh baked goods for the local area with an online subscription, but it will also be home to baking lessons. Our client’s vision for the outbuilding transcended mere functionality; it embodied a commitment to revitalizing the local economy and fostering community engagement. We were invited to a soft opening of the bakery last month in which the client baked pizzas for all of the team involved in the project. The grand opening of the bakery will mark the culmination of months of meticulous planning, collaboration, and hard work. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our client for entrusting us with their vision and to the local community for embracing this new addition to the Newbury landscape with open arms.
